Our Story
Connect Ed Collective was created by a volunteer mom who wanted to help other fellow volunteer parents make a difference in their respective communities. CEC was built to be different. In the everchanging dynamic of education, now more than ever, schools need to market all the amazing things they do and having a strong PTA/PTO helps do just that.
There are only 24 hours in a day and time constraints shouldn't get in the way of your desire to do good and be involved. That's where Connect Ed Collective comes in. Every service, every template and every process we help curate and implement is specifically tailored for schools and PTA/PTOs. We understand fundraising cycles, event planning timelines and the importance of materials that resonate with families. Making these products and practices readily available, helps keep families involved and keeps our schools shining!
Success is not only measured in profits, but in the positive impact made in the communities we help serve!
About Elizabeth
Hi there! I'm Elizabeth and I welcome you to my pursuit of chasing the things that give me energy and sing to my soul! I've always been a very involved parent and love to be of service to my community. Having been involved for the last 15 years, with many charities from the United Way, the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation, to the Catholic Community Foundation, it paved the way for my deep involvement in my children's school. Having served on the PTA board of my kid's Elementary school, gave me a unique perspective on education and volunteering as a whole.
Being a champion for education and helping make an impact in your community shouldn't be difficult and it should definitely always be FUN! So I made it a point to use my marketing experience to not only effectively fundraise, but also helped foster a strong sense of community with effective communication and of course, FUN! From coming up with successful fundraisers, to curating hilarious social media reels that would help boost not only engagement, but also morale, I knew helping streamline these processes for others is what my calling is, so here I am.
I am the proud mom of two awesome kiddos and a wife to an amazing husband, that no matter how crazy my ideas or dreams are, he supports them wholeheartedly. We moved from Miami to St. Augustine in August of 2024 and although my heart will always be in Miami, where I first discovered my servant's heart, we absolutely love our new home and are happy this is the place we are now raising our children. I am very proud to have helped raise over $600,000, during my four year tenure as PTA President and am humbled that my family had the distinct honor of being named one of the Miami Dade County Public Schools Families of the Year in 2024. I am excited to not only serve my new community, but would be honored to help others serve their community as well.
